It's been driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure it was recced widely quite a while back.

The gist: Sam was going to shoot Dean (so that Dean didn't have to go to hell, I presume). But he didn't know there were actually 2 bullets in the gun. Broke my heart, this fic did. Would love to bookmark it for future readings.
