Summary - A hunt gone terribly wrong leads to Dean losing some of the most important parts of himself, leaving him barely alive and helpless for the first time in his life. It's up to Sam to take care of him. The question is though, whether Dean would let him. Dean's abandonment are big in this one.
The Bright Lights of Disturbia (http://archiveofourown.org/works/181007) - leonidaslion. Not all of our scars are worn on the outside... This one is seriously dark but beautifully written.
Sing Your Hymns Like Angels In Defeat (http://archiveofourown.org/works/181754) - also by leonidaslion. The boys stop the Apocalypse but there's always a prize and Dean gets to pay it. It would help if he didn't think he deserves it though.
To Be Young Again (http://archiveofourown.org/works/186288) - Melodious329 - Sam and Dean are on a hunt when Dean accidentally gets transformed into a kid again, giving Sam an insight into his brother. (No wincest until Dean's back to his own age)
Hit the Ground Crawling (http://archiveofourown.org/works/92140) by jonny_vrm - After Sam pulls Dean out of Hell, Dean stops talking. It takes a week for Sam to convince Dean to open his mouth so Sam can check that his tongue hasn't been cut out. It takes two weeks for Sam to accept that Dean really isn't talking. Weeks later, Sam decides to start talking for the both of them.

Thanks, these look great! Some of these I'm definitely checking out, some sound way too sad and angsty for me to deal with right now, just because I'm looking for something more feel-good and comfort-heavy rather than hurty. Really appreciate all the recs though, so thank you!
