I'm looking for a specific fic that I read quite a while ago. I'm pretty sure it is J2 AU. It's a kid!fic with emphasis on Jensen finding his place in Jared's family. Jared has several kids (like 4-5) and his husband recently died. His oldest boy is a teenager and is acting out. He somehow damages Jensen's car which is how he meets Jared. He has the kid work off the damages (yard work and the like). I'm pretty sure that Jensen is/was in the military. Jensen makes sure the kids know he's not trying to replace their dad. He keeps pictures out, hanging or on the mantle. I think eventually, Jared and Jensen have a kid together.
