I'm pretty sure delicious got bought out and shut down. Last I heard the links were supposed to work still, but that's never a guarantee that they will.

The owner of Delicious, who is now the same one who runs Pinboard, disabled the function to add bookmarks, but all links bookmarked so far stay, as far as I know.

(I'm updating on Pinboard only now.)

Delicious has changed URLs a few times, which I bet is what's messing the links up for you.

They were del.icio.us at first, then changed to delicious.com, then changed back to del.icio.us.

If you run into a link like "delicious.com/USERNAME/TAG" you'll need to change it to "del.icio.us/USERNAME/TAG" for it to work.

Thank you for the responses. Apparently most of the links that I had tried to use did not have the "." separating the word delicious in the address and therefore did not work. If I separate the word delicious as aktura suggested then some of the addresses work (yes, somer, your link still works - hope it's o.k. to browse your bookmarks!) and the ones that don't, I am assuming the owner's disabled/took them down.

Thank you again for your help - after reading the pinboard notice (thank you somer for posting), I better start saving stories in case they finally do shut access to Delicious down. Thank you again for all the help - I'm still learning how to navigate in this wonderful world of fanfiction even though I've been reading it for years!
