I'm looking for a J2 fic I read years ago, I think on LJ. I'm pretty sure it was non-au.

A lot of parts were outsider POV, with a lot of Mackenzie Ackles POV, and at least one part with Jensen's mother's POV.

I think Jensen and Jared weren't talking anymore or somthing, and Mackenzie was worried about Jensen. I remeber Mackenzie started a relationship with an OMC who had a young daughter, and I think was a journalist.

I also remember the when Jensen was young he tried to commit suicide and was institutionalised for a while, and that while he was there a janitor or custodian or something noticed him and suggested that he start writing lists to make him feel better.

I think there might have also been some Sandy POV parts where she and Jared break up, but that might have been a different story.
