I can't remember the writer or story name, but I know that the story revolves around the co-dependency between the brothers. This one in particular, they were separated via the police and were given psych evals where they recorded how the brothers still utilize code words/hunters lingo and such. Basically any fic with hunters lingo will help. I'm trying to write a story and I'm working accepted variations of their codes into my story. Since there isn't enough code words. Haha

I'm looking for a fic I read a couple of years back. It was a human AU with Castiel as a prisoner (I think he was in the mafia, maybe?) and Dean was a prison guard. I think Castiel had some role in the mafia or the mob and that was why he was in prison. I'm pretty sure it was a longer story, with either really long chapters or it was in separate stories, I'm not sure.
I remember that at one point Castiel uses Dean's attraction to him to escape from prison (I think he tricks Dean into his cell and after they have their fun he knocks him out and steals his keys? maybe?), and I think he winds up hunting Dean down when Dean has to leave town and get a new job, and I think he kidnaps him at one point? I know this is really vague. I'm also pretty sure it had a somewhat happy ending, with Dean and Cas falling in love and deciding to start new lives together. I want to say I read it on AOO3, and that it was a Dean/Cas big bang entry...but I can't seem to find anything when I search for prisoner!Cas or mafia!Cas that fits what I remember. Please and thanks for the help!

I know that Jared was a Viking prince off on a raid of a castle where Jensen is being held prisoner/tortured and is dying in the dungeon. Jensen’s captor was down there with him during the raid and Jared was killing all of the captives until he saw Jensen and then he decided to cut Jensen free and take him home for his own. On the way to Jared’s land, the other people captured were going to revolt and flee the ship, but Jensen told them not to. I know that later on j2 end up together in a consensual relationship. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

So I'm reading Douglas County by awabubbles on AO3, I'm nornally not a fan of AUs except in J2 but I really like this one.  The problem is a bunch of the pictures for it aren't working so it's just blank space.  I really like the art and I want to know what I'm missing.  I appreciate it if anyone had a link where the art is still up or if they have a link to the art its self or even if they have downloaded the story with the art still intact.

I am looking for 2 types of law enforcement fic.
1) A situation like with Henriksen, where the cop/agent/ect is convinced that the boys are serial killers, but then has an encounter with a supernatural creature and is saved by the boys.
2) The cop/agent/ect does not believe the boys, believes they are delusional or mentally ill, but believes that they are genuinely trying to save people. The cop tries to help them get help. Something along the lines of Defect by Kikkimax.

I've searched for this fic once before but didn't get any results a few years ago, and it's sprung to my mind again and is now driving me crazy trying to find it so I figured I'd try again. This is definitely an older fic (I'm thinking probably around 2007/8) and is longer one...

I'm not 100% sure if it's a curse or a spell but Sam gets either sent back in time or to an alternate universe where there is another Dean and Sam - the two Sams swap consciousness but still retain their own appearances. In the past/alternate universe, Dean thinks Sam is insane as he is speaking of a different Dean and the future and possibly demons so he sends him to an asylum where he is very much mistreated. He's kept in isolation and chains practically 24/7.

I remember two specific scenes where he is being bathed/tortured, and another where Dean goes to visit him and he is very withdrawn and gaunt, and his hands are covered with a shawl to hide the chains/bruising. He begs Dean to take him home and Dean sees the chains, but he is convinced that his brother is violent which is why he needs the chains... Sam ends up escaping or being rescued by Bobby, and cared for by Jess who is Bobbys daughter... In the present time Dean and Sam from the past try to work out what happened and break the spell/curse to return them to their own timelines...

If anyone knows this specific fic it would be very much appreciated! I'd also like some recommendations along these types of stories & themes.

Hi! I'm looking for fics where the Winchesters are arrested by the police/FBI, who think they're crazy/murders/ect., but then where they find out the truth. I'd like longer fics, or at least ones with a long-ish description of their reactions if you know any, and it'd be great if the fic also included Castiel.

I don't want any fics that crossover with NCIS or Criminal Minds, because I've already read pretty much all of those.

I've rewatched season nine and now I'm craving some stories about the following things:

1) In Meta fiction Castiel stabs Gabriel to prove that he is dead - are there any stories out there where Gabriel has not been an imagiantion and Castiel realises that he hurt/killed his brother for real?

2) Any story with Cas and Gabriel being on a road trip together (preferably both of them being angels)

3) Any story with Cas and Gabriel becoming hunters. In every story I've found so far they both are human but I prefer them to be angels (maybe trying to hide from heaven or trying to fulfil their father's order to protect humanity). I will also take any story with both of them pretending to be human and hunters (hopefully with some interaction with other hunters).

4) Any story with both of them being human/powerless and getting arrested? Maybe they even have to call the Winchesters for help?

Slash stories are great but right now I'm more interested in gen.

All I can remember about it is that Dean is a police officer kind of person and Cas has just been released from prison after Dean wrongly arrested him? There was something about a list of things Cas wanted to do that Dean helped him with? I think Cas may have been thinking about a suicide attempt at one point? I'm looking for the fic where Dean gets falsely accused of rape when he's a teen and goes to jail. When he's released everyone still judges him and I'm pretty sure the other teen who accused him shows up at one point and Dean tells him how he ruined his life. I can remember that Sam is very protective of his brother in this fic because he knows he's innocent.

I'm still trying to recover some fics that I lost since changing computers a few times & they're older fics again, I'm pretty certain they're both from different series of fics, number 2 certainly is. If anyone can help I'd be really greatful:

1. The first one takes place after Sam had been kidnapped and tortured pretty badly I'm sure and Dean takes him to a hotel for a break and to recover. The specific fic I'm looking for I'm pretty sure begins with the door to their room being knocked and Sam wakes Dean up to answer it because he's still to scared to deal with people and he runs into the bathroom when Dean goes to answer the door. As the fic goes on there's a scene where Sam sits out on the balcony watching people on the beach and theres a crime scene there I'm sure at somepoint. They discover that theres a demon dgo (I think, but definitely some kind of creature) killing people and Dean goes to hunt it. I'm almost certain that when he doesn't return Sam fights his fears of leaving their room to go track him down.

2. This is definitely a series of fics. From what I can remember, and this may be pieced together from different fics in the series... Sam gets captured by a serial killer who I'm sure turns out to be demon. He's held in a basement along with another person (or people) and the killer/demon kills them first saving Sam for last. Dean is trying to find him and works with the police but the figures out where Sam is before them, when he gets there a fire breaks out in the basement and he fights to free Sam from the cage. The police interview him at Bobbys and he feels like they don't believe his story, Dean gets really protective of Sam in this one and makes them leave, at somepoint the demon shows up at Bobbys and the fight again. In another part of this Sam winds up in prison (maybe on false identity or on a case) and the demon, or someone who worships him is in the prison and finds Sam. Dean and a priest are fighting to get Sam out knowing that being there isn't doing him any good and when they try to break him out a fire starts again in the prison.

I've tried to be as detailed as I can with what I can remember from these fics, if anyone can help or knows them or something similar to my search then that would awesome, thanks!

I can only remember bits and parts of the fic. It's slash and Sam is arrested for being an accomplis to some break ins but he's just stalling while Dean looks for information. While Sam is being held, he goes on and on about his lover (Dean) about his 'endowment' size and his stamina. Dean ends up going to get Sam thinks Dean is mad but Dean turns out to be turned on. They end up becoming lovers.

I'm still a bit shocked that magser deleted her/his journal, I was there only a month ago...

As it says on the tin, I'm looking for "Behind the mask" by magser (tall_tales was the name of the lj) - "Jensen Ackles is in the home stretch...he just has to get through four months at the worst Asylum he has ever seen and he is a fully qualified psychiatrist. What he finds there though is much worse than he ever imagined, and like an old movie playing out in front of his eyes, he finds neglected patients, lazy doctors and an injustice he is determined to put right..."

Since the journal has been purged, I cannot contact the author to ask whether it would be alright to share (maybe someone here knows something?), but I just optimistically assume it's fine and ask if someone saved the story and would be kind enough to send me a copy (and I'd totally bake you virtual christmas cookies!)! :D

hi! I'm looking for a fic that has sam and dean as young teenagers when they get trapped by a madman? (i think just a human not a monster) and sealed in a concrete room. there is some food in it but it eventually runs out and they start slowly starving to death. I can't remember for sure if it was wincest or not but I think it might have been? Eventually they are found because they keep tapping on this pipe and someone hears them. The first fic I'm looking for is a Wincest fic. I think it's a comment fic. John found out that Sam is going to Stanford and decides that Sam needs to be brought under control, his control, under his collar. Sam is rather disturbed by this, and Dean is all "Hell no, Sam is mine!" and tells John he knew about Sam leaving and that Sam had Dean's permission to go since Dean was going with him.

The second one was a J2 fic, this one was a longer fic, but my memories are vaguer. They're in some sort of containment center, though Jared's section includes an area outdoors. Jensen ends up in Jared's area because some of the other inmates dumped him there, I think. I know that Jared is feral and someone, the government maybe, is using him as an assassin. Jared latches onto Jensen and everyone is surprised that Jared doesn't kill him. I *think* they have sex, but I'm not sure. Jensen ends up becoming a stabilizing influence on Jared, I think through a mental bond? And then they both end up escaping. That's not quite the end but I don't remember what happens after that. Also, I have read Feral by riyku and while it is a bit similar it is not the fic I'm looking for.

What I remember is that Cas lives in the basement (I think of Gabriel'a house) and he never leaves the house. Dean ends up robbing the house with a few other people. Dean ends up saving Cas's life when the rest of the robbers find Cas. Cas kept in contact with Dean while he was in jail and I think it ended up being Dean/Cas.

1: where Dean or Jensen is a typical bad boy: drinking, smoking, tattoos, maybe getting arrested, or when people just think they are trouble. I am looking for fics like the one where Jensen and Jared meet when Jared is on a holiday with his family and they meet because Jensen sleeps outside on the porch (I lost the link to this fic, if anyone could help me find it that would be appreciated).

2: fics where Jensen does something incredibly heroic. Fics where he is just this regular guy who is put in a position where he has to act and simply does. I remember this fic where Jensen could turn into a dragon (named Alamo?) and he played a large role in saving the world (again, I lost the link so if you recognize this one as well..). I really loved that one, but anything where Jensen is part of a large fight for the right would be great!

In the fic, Sam is in an institution. Amelia is his psychiatrist, and I *believe* it mentions Ruby (Dr. Rubenstein) as a previous therapist. Sam's extremely unstable and has committed some violent crimes, and Dean may or may not be real. I really want to find it again, so if you can remember anything about it, please let me know!

1. I'm looking for a J2 Highschool AU- where Jensen has an older boyfriend who knocks him up and then is totally out of the picture, and Jared (who's def younger) becomes pretty much Jensen's only friend and defends him, even though he's a freshman (pretty sure). Anyway, as time goes on, they fall in love, and even though they're young Jared is definitely interested in being a permanent fixture in the baby's life.

I think there was some stuff about Jared climbing in through a window....and i'm like 95% sure they have sex in a school bathroom at some point...

Specific fic: J2 AU, in which Jensen was accused of molesting a child (he didn't) and serves time in prison.
The kid who accused him of molestation was lying because he didn't like Jensen. I think he was Chis' younger brother.
Jensen meets Jared after he's released, when he's working at JDM's butcher shop.
Officers do regular check-ups on Jensen, and they are total jerks.
Jared's brother is a cop, and he had a son that J and J babysit.
J and J start a relationship and Jared ends up pregnant.
Jared's brother finds out about Jensen and doesn't believe he is innocent.
J and J have the baby, a little girl, but Jensen isn't allowed to be there when she's born.
J and J set up house together and Jensen gets a job where he his co-workers find out about his past and harass him.
Jensen attempts suicide. In the end he is vindicated.

General request: Any fics along the lines of _doodle's fic Times Like These. Long, angsty J2 or Wincest where one of them breaks off the relationship or leaves, and the other waits for them/ tries to win them back. Also, fic where there is infidelity or misunderstanding/assumed infidelity and they have to work to get back together. I don't care who leaves/cheats, but I do prefer bottom!Sam/Jared. I love small town settings and dark/angst-filled back story (something that happened to break them up).

There was a story where Jared, recently released from jail, gets on a bus and ends up in a small town. I don't remember how he meets Jensen, but Jensen takes him to his mechanic shop and gives him a job sweeping or doing small tasks. Later, when work is over Jared finds food through dumpster diving, but Jensen invites him to join the gang (ex marines, special ops, etc) to eat at a restaurant.

Later, Jensen and Jared fall in love.

I'm looking for any and all J2 fics that have Jensen in the mafia as some kind of higher up, if he's not the boss, or a crime lord. Or where Jensen's the right hand man or trusted adviser and/or assassin of the boss. Failing that, both he and Jared in a life of organized crime is good too.
Bonus points for option #2, where one J is a cop/fed and the other J is in the mob.

I can't remember the title or author of this fic, all I remember is that Jared overhears Jensen talking on the phone to his dad and Jensen is crying and telling his dad "he's in deep." Jared can't imagine what could possibly make Jensen sound like that, little does he know its because Jensen has fallen in love with him. I'm not sure, but I think maybe Jensen thought he was straight until Jared. I remember Jensen's dad tries to comfort Jensen by telling him he's a good man and he'll figure out the right thing to do or something like that.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has a copy of a story I believe is by karfraegh (it was originally under her other pen name, garvaldmains) where Jensen kidnaps doctor Jared and forces Jared to go with him to a special hideout. Jensen's daughter was kidnapped or something and Jensen had been in jail. Jensen is hurt and Jared patches him and slowly grows to believe in Jensen's innocence or something like that. I tried friending her, but apparently the journal has been untouched for nearly a year and I guess I'm out of luck with that avenue.

Okay, so a little while back I was randomly roaming around the NC-17 section of somewhere when I stumbled across the awesome that is jail cell sex, rofl. I don't remember the context of why Sam and Dean were locked up, maybe because of Henricksen but don't hold me to that, but I do remember that Sam and Dean were locked up in separate cells that were separated by bars. For some reason they decided to have sex through the bars and Dean was the one who bottomed. A little vague I know but' there can't be too many of these fics lying around. I think the story I'm looking for was a WIP- I'm not sure how far it ever got because I think I only read the first chapter. Anyway, it's set during World War II and Dean is at a prison camp along with Castiel and I remember Gabriel was there too. I can't remember what part Sam had in the story...

There was a pair of stories where somehow Jared & Sam unknowingly switched places with each other, I think Dean calls Bobby for help but I'm not sure.  Established couples for both, but Sam's wall is still broken from Cas.  I think Jared & Jensen are at Jensen's house while Sam & Dear are in a hotel.  While Jared likes to be manhandled, Jensen realizes Sam needs to be treated with kid gloves.  Dean has sex with Jared & Jensen makes love with Sam before the guys are switched back.

Also there was another fic where Sam went to prison & Jensen was the 'fresh meat' that came along.  Sam takes Jensen to his bunk after Jensen gets roughed up and I know they get out of prison after a while, but I can't remember too much about it.  I think the author ended it that Dean wasn't with Sam in prison because he was the one who would get Sam out.

What's the one where Sam and Dean are in prison, Dean takes it upon himself to start sleeping with an OC/younger convict (the convict thinks he's just exchanging sex for protection in prison, but Dean actually likes/develops feeling for the guy), and when the brothers escape, they somehow end up taking a guard as well as the convict, and all the while, the convict was convinced that S&D were batshit insane serial killers and that Dean was going to kill him at any moment?

It was told in first person, and was from the OC convict's POV.

Dean is in a courtroom - I think it may be a custody hearing re: Ben, or it may not. Several people they've saved in the past show up in support, willing to testify on his behalf. It is not the 'Ben Braeden Winchester' series by lostatc - I checked that one already, as I remembered Mara Daniels from S0219 'Folsom Prison Blues' coming to help Dean get custody of Ben.

Which may be why I'm picturing a custody hearing - it may not be a custody issue at all, and I'm just getting them mixed up in my brain. It IS a courtroom setting. I believe Andrea from S0103 'Dead in the Water' is there, as is Det. Ballard from S0207 'The Usual Suspects'.  Agent Henrikson is also there, trying to do his worst. I think.

It is probably gen. I do know it isn't a wincest thing, as I don't read that pairing. It is not a recent fic - I read it awhile ago. Hence the shoddy memory. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, everyone. I'm looking for a fic that I loved, but forgot to bookmark. For the life of me, I can't seem to remember the title or find it through google. In it, Jensen is released from prison and starts fight training with Jared. He's scared at first because he doesn't trust himself and doesn't want to hurt anyone. I believe he has issues with sleeping and eating properly as well. Jared eventually purchases some cuffs for Jensen to wear as they progress into their D/s relationship.

Also, if anyone can rec any other fics similar to the one above, where one character is desperate to wear cuffs because it makes him feel grounded, safe, etc., I would appreciate the input. :)

This is a story I've been looking for for a while. I've tried everything to find it but I feel like I'm just missing it.

It was one of the very first J2 story I read. It had Fred Lehne (no tag I noticed) and he was a bad guy somehow, either human trafficing or drugs or something along those lines. Jared (if I'm not mixing this up with something else, it's been a long time since I read it) just got out of juvie and was propositioned to go undercover into Freds life and find out some information on him. I remember Jared going to and staying at his house with him as some sort of assistant/boytoy. The only other thing I can remember is towards the end, Jared gets out of the whole undercover thing only to be kidnapped somehow by Fred and Jensen finds him at Freds house in a closet tied up, beaten, and naked. I honestly don't remember how Jensen ties into the story or if it's J2 or just gen.

Please help me if you can, it's and older story and I'm pretty sure it was a popular one.

I have a craving for stories where Cas is caught and interrogated by the police and for some reason is unable to just fly away (maybe he's fallen or there's something blocking his angel powers?) Dean and Sam may or may not be with him.

Was also wondering of there are any fics out there where the cops that are chasing the Winchesters put all the evidence together and come to the conclusion that the Winchesters aren't serial killers -they're vigilantes (which is what I would think the evidence would point towards, with the killings always starting before the boys enter the town, and ending when they leave).

On that note, are there any stories where the Winchesters are vigilantes? Or where they kill human evil instead of or as well as the supernatural kind.

I've just been watching some White Collar and I couldn't help but be intrigued by the whole anklet situation. Unfortunately since White Collar is about as unslashy as you can get, I've come here looking for SPN fic following the same idea.

So does anyone know of any fic where Dean or Cas need to wear something similar to the anklet (magical equivalents perfectly acceptable!) and are dependent upon an authority figure? Preferably it would be the other one, but if they're tied to someone else it could be interesting to.

So I've exhausted my search powers and I need help.
I read a Supernatural/Criminal Minds story a while back and now can't find it anywhere. In it Dean had been forced to kill Sam because he couldn't escape Lucifer's possession. He gets arrested and imprisoned, I think he basically gave himself up without Sam alive anymore. Dean doesn't talk to anyone, but one of the guards had a soft spot for him. A few years later, the BAU were working on a case the couldn't figure out. Someone suggested interviewing Dean since serial killers make the best profilers. He eventually talks to them and, I think, helps solve the case.

With all I remember you'd think I'd be able to find it, but alas, I can't. Also does anyone have any good Crowley/Gabriel(Loki) stories? Friendship or slash, both are great.

I've been posting lots of requests lately - thanks for your patience and help!  I tried running some searches of the comm using the LJseek tool, but just got a blank page, so I'm assuming that means no hits. I'm also checking the tags for some possibly likely crossovers.

I'm hoping you can help me find fics according to that always-fun plot device where our heroes (the boys) accidentally(?) stumble onto a top secret nefarious government/large-scale-corporate experiment of some type - some super-secret project (think like Area 51 or the Pretender's The Centre, etc). Or maybe the Project learns about Sam's or Cas' abilities somehow and wants to use them somehow.  They then get captured and held by the org's security and/or have to hide from them. Experiments/whump!  Anything more or less along those lines. Would be extra great if Cas were involved but unable to magically rescue them for whatever reason.

Given how common this plot device has been in other fandoms I've frequented, I'm hoping that there are fics out there for SPN.  Any thoughts/ideas?  I'd prefer gen or destiel, but any non-incestuous pairing would be fine as long as the plot is strong.  Don't mind crossovers for well-known shows, but would prefer that the Supernatural part not be very AU (eg. I'd rather not always-human Cas, dramatically different society, etc etc).  I don't read incest or RPF so if you rec it for future searchers, please mark it clearly.

I'd love to get some more recs for fics dealing with the consequences of the events in the ep 'Slash Fiction'. In other words, the Winchesters either hunted by the cops, meeting people who recognize them, getting arrested, prison, whatever... as long as it deals with outsiders reacting to the Winchesters post the cross state killing spree committed by the LeviChesters.

I prefer gen, but I'll accept any pairing except for wincest. Crossovers would be awesome, outside pov even better.

I just feel that the show just dropped most of the consequences of that ep, so please tell me that fandom was a bit less quick to drop the potential of it.

I remember that Sam and Dean had grown up in foster care, and were pretty successful. They ran a gang I think? Two police officers discussed how the only thing they could probably charge them with was incest, and how it would never go through.

Hi! I suddenly got this craving for troubled youth fic, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any J2 stories where one J, Jensen preferably, is a troubled teen living in some kind of home for boys who have behavioral or emotional problems, have a history of anti-social or sexualized behaviors, or drug abuse or dependency. One of those places where they live there and go to school there because they are currently considered a danger to themselves and society. I'd even go for a place like juvie, but it doesn't have to be. It could also be a place that takes in runaways or youth that have no place else to go. And the other J, preferably Jared, is a worker there who is trying to help them and he does help and eventually they fall in love.
I'm also looking for stories where one J, preferably Jensen, is is in foster care. The other J takes him in and they get close and form a relationship.
I'd like it if Jensen was around 16-17 for both of these so that he is close to getting out of the system when they meet and then they have their happily ever after, but I am open to anything. Does anybody know of any stories like this?
