I just started watching Chuck (the TV show with Zachary Levi) and am really enjoying it (yes, I am aware I am literally years behind the times). I was wondering if anyone knew of any stories where J2 (or Sam & Dean) are characters like Chuck and Sarah, one is smart (but maybe not achieving his full potential) and gets the intersect downloaded into his head and the other is the handler.

Or anything where one is a secret agent and the other is not but keeps getting dragged in some how.

I think castiel is an assassin or a killer, who on the job freed a young dean from slavery.

castiel becomes obsessed with dean. otherwise he is apathetic. later he goes undercover as deans slave to get closer to dean. He goes to the room where dean is having a threesome and they have sex.

Cas can leave at any time he just doesn't want to. Its like a vacation to him. He finally leave at the end.

At the end dean realizes castiel is the one who saved him.

I'm looking for a J2 version of Dexter, with Danneel as Deb and Jensen as Dexter. I don't think it has a very happy ending, IIRC. Does anyone remember this one?

Guys, I’ve been re-reading the amazing “Killer Romance 'Verse (aka The Adventures of crimeboss!Jared and ex-assassin!Jensen)” Verse by Saone, and the “Bad Ass Boys 'Verse” by splashpink, and am looking the see if there are any more stories in the same vein.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be crime lord Jared/ex assassin, though those would be amazing, rather any story where Jensen is underestimated, or is perceived as vapid or just a pretty face, but in reality is razor sharp, ruthless or dangerous.

Its a spy au and jared is the spy and jensen is (i forget the word for it) but basically he guides Jared and watches him through cameras and talks to him through an earpiece. I remember Jared is flirty at first and Jensen is kind of grumpy, and i know sometime along the way jensen gets kidnapped and his back is really messed up, then they both go to hawaii or something?? i also know this is a death!fic and jensen is shot and then jared kills himself with a bomb or something.

Hello! I will be out of the country for a few weeks and I am looking for J2 PDFs which I can download. However, regular links for stories are also welcome! I love reading J2 fics but unfortunately it seems that I have read all the good ones and there haven't been any new stories in the genres I want. But I am hoping I have missed out on some, please help!

1 - It's a were fic. Jensen is a wolf and Jared is a coy wolf.

Not much to go on here, but I am looking for a fic - a one-shot that I read on LJ (I think...).  It was set in a futuristic/post apocalyptic world where Jensen was a highly trained/programmed assassin or soldier who had escaped from/was in hiding from the people who had trained him.  He was with Jared, in a remote place - cabin in the woods or on a mountain, somewhere.  They were doing all right, under the radar, but then Jensen came back from town or wherever, with a body - someone had tracked them, and Jensen had killed the man to protect them.

It was a beautifully written story, gorgeous language - spare, almost, and I think it was a winter setting.  Anyway, I would be very grateful if anyone can help!  I swear I had saved this fic to memories, but I just can't find it!

I was hoping you could help me out by finding a few fics in the above genre? Basically, I just read ashtraythief's Underneath It All (which is a fic in which Jared is a Mob Boss and Jensen's an Undercover FBI agent that's tasked with seducing him -- it's phenomenal, and you should ABSOLUTELY read it!) and now I'm obsessed!

So anything wherein:

a) One of the Js (preferably Jared, because I have a bit of a bottom!jensen kink, but I really don't mind) is in the Mob (or just any kind of criminal) and the other J is in some kind of law enforcement.

OR

b) same as above, only the J that's a 'fed', so to speak, is undercover -- so the other J doesn't know his real identity, like in ashtraytheif's story!!!

I'd honestly prefer the latter type of story, but at this point I would be happy with any fics you guys can rec! Self-recs are of course welcome! Thank you for any help, this genre has been driving me crazy!!

Okay, so, I really don't have much to go on for this but! this is what I do recall (some of this may be wrong):

Jimmy and Castiel are twins and part of the Angelo (di Angelo?) crime family. I think they're assassins/hitmen/cleaners, but it might just be Castiel.

I want to say Michael is the 'Godfather' type character and the other archangels are also siblings.

The fic is probably Destiel since I tend to read a lot of that, but I'm nowhere near positive.

Does this ring a bell to anyone?

I can't remember everything about it. I just remember that Jared was kidnapped for some reason by I believe a drug cartel because of his father who was JDM? Jensen was the special agent whose team was tasked in getting Jared back, and Chris as well as I believe Tom and Michael were part of the team. The escape I believe involved blowing the building up? And when Jared's mother came to get him from where they were flying in she was in a disguise and wasn't really his mother but another special agent because they knew someone was going to try and kill her? I am like, 99% sure that Jared's mother was famous and I think he was too. I'm pretty sure the fic had had plenty of angst, and that there had been believed to be at least one of the main characters killed though I don't remember if they actually were. I was wondering if anyone knew of any fic where Jensen or Jared are ruthless (mobster/murderer/hit man) and aggressive but for some reason makes an exception for one or the other. Not that they have to treat each other sweetly, one can have taken the other against their will, or with threats -  I've just finished Love in the Dark by fatebegins and I really liked the whole vibe of that, where Jensen is absolutely insane and doesn't try to hide it from anybody,including Jared. Blood and violence is ok, even if it is graphic.  Possessiveness is a must.

I read this fic years ago and fell in love with it but lost it afterwards. All I remember from it was that Jensen was on vacation (to Hawaii or somewhere like that) and was given a room that was already booked. Someone tries to kill Jensen, thinking he was the original person who booked the room and Jared saves him then has to protect him. Now I may be completely off or right on the dote or close to it. Like I said, it's been a long time since I last read this story. So I just hope it's familiar to someone and they can help me :)

The first one was very old at least 2009, I think it was never finished... not sure.

1) It was Jared/Jensen, Jensen was sold by his family to a man who kept him guarded all the time, and the first scene is the guy having sex with him, and forcing him to keep his eyes open.

Then a team of SWAT like guys kidnap him to punish his owner. Jensen is severly traumatized and can't act normal with other people, fearing his owner would get mad.
Chris and Jared are part of the team that rescues/kidnaps him, Chris becomes Jensen's friend and protects him, until he's almost normal, and even chats with others. but Jared wants to seduce Jensen for kicks

At some point Chris is sent away and Jared is the only one left with Jensen


2) I'm looking for  is a fic like a year or two ago too, Jared is some kind of black ops agent and he's banging Chad - I think-.
he's asigned with Chris to a mission and he's given a clon/enhaced partner for it, it kinda foillows the logic of Dark angel.

Jared is given Jensen but then I lost it, Jeffrey was there too, as the CO.

I'm looking for any and all J2 fics that have Jensen in the mafia as some kind of higher up, if he's not the boss, or a crime lord. Or where Jensen's the right hand man or trusted adviser and/or assassin of the boss. Failing that, both he and Jared in a life of organized crime is good too.
Bonus points for option #2, where one J is a cop/fed and the other J is in the mob.

Just finished reading the latest installment to alexjanna91's Adventures in Babysitting (Apple Pie Life) verse, and there was a line there that I thought pointed out a really interesting facet about Dean - that he seems like such an outwardly fun-loving, (gorgeous) and laidback kinda dude, but he's also dangerously competent and highly trained.

So, I kinda wanna read fics where Dean surprises people with just how deep and dangerous and BAMF he can be, especially if its juxtaposed to their perception of him being a joker/geek/softie for kids.

In tandem with that, I'm hankering for fics where Dean has innocuous/adorable/harmless jobs (like being a nanny or a baker or a pre-school teacher) but then he shows that he's also maybe an ex-spy or ex-delta force or something, or maybe a PI on the side. Or it can be the other way around, and he's like an FBI agent who watches over kids during the weekends. Something like that, if there are any.

Also, kidfics kinda fit real well with what I'm looking for. So you guys, I love those too!

Oh! And Destiel is my main OTP, if there are any pairings. No Wincest please. But I will also love any Lisa fics, especially if Ben is in it as well. Also, Charlie and Dean being bros is always welcomed.

HI!!!!!! I'm looking for 2 specifics fics I have read before and lost :( because I'm a looser who never figured out how to bookmark anything.

1. powers!jensen and jared. What I remember is that Jensen was incapable of being injured/killed and Jared was an Empath (or maybe a mind reader). Jensen gets recruited to a team of people with abilities which is ran by JDM and Jared is the leader. Misha, Chad Michael Murray, and Tom are all part of the team too. I remember Misha can make anything blow up and Tom is super strong. I also remember one of the girls (Sandy or Gen) is there and can talk to computers (I think). I know all the people on the team had really suffered in the real world because of their powers and had a lot of emotional baggage. Jared and Jensen don't like each other at first, mostly because Jensen has a dirty mind and it really freaks Jared out. Jared never touches anyone because he is afraid he will hurt them. They have to fight a "supervillan" who can make time slow to an almost stop (I think it was Chad Lindberg).

2. The second fic, I may be mixing 2 up (if so I'd like to find both). This is what I remember: J2 are both like Super Spies for the government and responsible for the government and responsible for protecting the people of Earth from finding out about aliens. Jared is from Earth and Jensen grew up on a space station. Jared told all his friends he was a traveling toothbrush salesman, and one day he came home from a conference with Jensen. In truth they had met while protecting the Earth. They were retired and then were attacked and called back to active duty in space. They ended up on Jensen's space station. I remember the station being described vividly especially a park. I remember Jensen's parents were in the science wing and they had to get special permission to go and see them. That's really all I remember of that one and I know it's not a lot.

I'd also take any recs along these lines too. Anything goes (I really don't have any squicks) as long as it has a happy ending!!!!

1. I'm looking for a J2 mpreg fic. Jensen and Jared were married. Jensen said he never wanted kids. Jared had found out he was pregnant and left Jensen. Ended up having twins boys. Somehow Jensen finds them and is shocked that Jared has kids. I think Jared was over working himself and keeps getting sick. Jensen wants to know the twins, maybe they move back with Jensen... I don't remember more. Sorry. 

2. More fics like the one described above. Something along the lines of a fight or a misunderstanding separates the boys and they breakup. Down the line one finds out the other had a child and never told him. Doesn't matter who was pregnant. Sam/Dean and J2 preferably. Happy endings please.

2. I cant remember alot about this story, I read it years ago. What I can remember is that jared and jensen where friends in high school and secretly dating. Jensen's friends found out and he lied and told them Jared assaulted him. Fast forward a couple years Jared is married to Misha and works in advertising (not to sure) and Jensen is hired as his new boss. (Misha is affraid of pepperoni)

3. J2, Chris and Steve live together. J2 are best friends and Jensen is known for sleeping around. Jensen stops sleeping around and Jared realizes its cause Jensen is in love. He tries to get jensen to tell him who it is and they end up fighting. Chris ends up telling Jared that Jensen is in love with him and Jared doesnt know if he can trust Jensen because of his past. Its a specific story im looking for but any stories that are similar to that would be great, im a fan of them.

Okay, so I just finished season one of Nikita and loved it. And now I'm really in the mood for more assassin, trained killer type stuff. I've looked at a few on the Assassin tag on J2 recs, but I've only found one so far, The Hit that is sort of related to the thing I'm looking for. But its really short :( and I like longer fics.

I want basically one of them to be a killer hired to get rid of the other because they know some info they shouldn't or something to that effect, I don't want the target to have done anything bad, (preferably Jensen as the hired gun and Jared as the target) and when they come head to head he changes his mind and lets the other go. Who knows what  could happen after that. Surprise me! :D

I'm looking for a short series where Jensen and Jared were bfs, the first arc opens up with someone (Lehne I think?) kidnapping Jensen while being on Skype (or something similar) to Jared and says he's going to make him watch while he kills Jensen.

But in the end, Jensen gets the better of him.

Jeff is also their bodyguard or something in the fic.

I am currently on forced vacation from work, and doc and boss say I'm supposed to be resting, even though I say that cracked ribs, a broken finger, and a twisted ankle are totally work around-able (I teach gymnastics...kinda got tumbled on. Its an occupational hazard). So seeing as the most strenuous thing I can do for the next few weeks is play on my laptop, I'm hoping you fine people can help me out.

1) I just found out I am totally into the stories where one boy is a secret agent/spy/dragon/other creature and the other doesn't know it. I love sweet and protective boys, and prefer happy endings, although that isn't a requirement. The stories that inspired this request is 'Someone You Might Have Been', 'Just Another Day At The Office', and 'Queensguard'.

2) I'm also looking for some sweetness. Could be kinky, or just slash where its implied. I don't care. The pain meds are making me loopy, and I'm looking for something really sweet, cuddly, and just plain adorable.

3) In contrast with the sweetness, I'm hoping for some really miserable and tragic stories. Something that will make me cry.

I'm after stories that have the boys. Jared/Sam Jensen/Dean on dfferent teams but fall in love. They could be Lawyers,Sport players,Buisness men,or anything where they have to fight/play against each other.

I will be gratefull for anything you can find,though I do love a long fic.
I would love fics that have them sneeking behind their friends/families backs
I would also love any fics where one of the boys gives up and allows the other one to win.

But as I've said,I am open to anything.

001. J2 stories where the boys are in love almost instantly. Best friends to lovers, instant love without it being awkward. Just, something that has them clicking right away and them not caring about it. Bonus if their friends do.

001-b. People trying to break J2 up, or are hurting Jared emotionally because they want Jensen or are jealous, or anything. (ie: that one story where Jared visits Jensen and Danneel shows up and is a complete bitch. Stuff like that).

002. Lovesick, absolutely pining Jared, for Jensen, who's completely clueless and dating others and Jared's just completely hurt and heartbroken!

002-b. Heartbroken Jared, period. Hopefully because of Jensen unknowingly hurting him!

003. AU stories where Jensen really is a therapist and Jared really did do something in engineering. Yeah. :)

004. Just funny J2 stories, preferably funny stories about the two of them admitting their feelings, or dating one another for the first time, or anything. Like that Halloween story by saone77. Aha.

005. Crime boss stories, like the Killer Romance verse by saone77.

006. Wincest story with the boys raised apart, both hunters though. Awesome if Mary lives or something?

(Sorry in advance if the tags are wrong or incomplete, mods.) Hey guys! So I've read a couple fics like this lately, and I wondered how many of them there were. I'd like to read fics in which one of the boys - this can be SPN or J2, doesn't matter to me - thinks that the other should fear them for some reason, like they'll hurt them with or without meaning to, and of course the other doesn't. I.e., Sam thinks Dean should be afraid of him for the psychic thing or another supernatural reason (maybe getting turned into a vamp or a werewolf), or maybe one of the J's kills people and that's supposed to make him scary. I'll take gen SPN, slashy pairings (including Wincest), or J2, any rating, any length, and self-recs are fine. :)

I've read Fleshflutter's Someone You Might Have Been several times now, and it only gets better every time. But I've recently been turned on to podfics, and I wanted to see if anyone knows if there's a podfic of it out there somewhere. I could have sworn I saw it once but I can't remember where, so if anyone knows I'd greatly appreciate it!

I cannot find this fic: I'm 99% sure it's J2. Jensen and Jared are part of a spy network that is assigned to steal secrets off of a computer. Jared's specifically assigned because has a power that enables him to mentally interact with the computer network - apparently this is a rare talent in the 'verse. The last person that tried what he's been ordered to do went catatonic and there's no guarantee Jared won't, either.
