# 1 I search for fics where one of the boys - Sam or Dean - is really distressed or sad and the other is there to comfort him. I´m a hopeless sap, I know. Gen or wincest, I´m fine with anything. Just give me some serious comfort, please. *makes puppy-dog-eyes*

# 2 J² with the boys being very protective of each other. I don´t care who´s being protective of whom but I´d love to read something where it´s emphasized and not only mentioned in passing.
AU-fics are very welcolme, too.

And last but not least something slightly off-topic:
# 3 Just curious - are there any fics where Layla dies and Dean finds out about it afterwards? Any genre, rating or pairing is finde.

Hello; does anyone know what happened to the website for the Lawrence Awards (http://www.lawrenceawards.com/main.html)  There were some excellent nominees and winners that I wanted to read again.  Help, anyone?

I have gone through the tags here, at SPN Themes, and at Bobby's library and I am still coming up empty handed on two fics.

The first is an amnesia fic where - now that I think about it Dean may have been de-aged as well - all that I remember is Sam giving Dean his clothes, amulet, ring, and bracelets and Dean thinking something along the lines of  'Oh great, I'm gay'. He also drools over the Impala - which he thinks is Sam's car - and is super stoked when Sam tells him that it actually is his. I think it ends with them getting it on before Dean gets his memory back and after he does, he asks Sam why his ass hurts. But that ending could be from a completely different fic.

The second is a fic where the boys are cursed by little gnome like things called Red Caps with giant peens and eat continuously for days until the curse wears off. I've had the link for this twice, yet I can't find it anywhere I bookmark stuff.

Hello! Rather inspired by Sam and Dean's road-tripping, I'm about to embark on a solo road trip from Vancouver, Canada down to San Diego, USA. I recently had the pleasure of asking James Marsters (Spike in Buffy) where he thought I should go as that's his part of the world (his answer can be seen here), and in addition I'm trying to put together a reading list of fics that cover West Coast places to help get more ideas and also to take with me to read as I'm travelling through the locations on Highway 101 etc.

So: Any fics that deal with places on the West Coast? Sammy at University? Any fics that deal with filming in Vancouver? Could be gen, could be slash, could be rps, fps, au etc etc. Self-pimping adored.

Hey everyone! So this time im strictly looking for Wincest.

1) There was this fic where Sam decided on leaving for Stanford after they killed the demon or after he saved Dean from the deal. I'm not really sure. But Dean instead of freaking out helped him instead. He bought like all the stuff that Sam needed for school. And they bought a couch aswell at one point. And he also bought Sam an apartment.

2) Just any long Wincest stories please. The best that there is out there. But please no like Evil! Sam or Evil! Dean or death fics or rape or abuse. Just good long angsty stories with an happy ending. Like must reads!

3) Are there any Wincest fics out there where Dean still feels insecure about Sam leaving him again? And guilty Sam in that fic would be awesome too.

4) Wincest dating? Like Sam and Dean go on actual date. Something funny, light hearted, fluffy?

5) I just watched Route 666 and i was wondering if there any fics with Sam deaiing with Dean and Cassies relationship. Basically lots of jealousy and angst?

Seems like all I've read lately has been AU!jensen/jared, and I was wondering if you could direct me to long-ish RPF/RPS that has the boys as we know them, or at least both of them acting (if not in supernatural, at least doing some kind of acting gig).

Could you please, please rec me something? Anything. I have preferences, but feel free to toss them out the window if you can think of a fic that would fit the generic non-AU criteria:

1. preferably Jared does the pining and Jensen is oblivious of the other's feelings (even though he might have some of his own),

2. long complicated more-than-friendship situations and all the shabang. [I've read all of indysaur's fics, and it's a bit what i'm looking for here.]

3. boys acting like boys, and sometimes being dicks to each other. i love projecting myself in characters, but i don't want one of the guys reciting poems to each other, no matter how cute. :)

I'm hoping this is okay -- I've lost my fanart files in a hard drive crash and I'm looking for one in particular that was my default desktop image.

It's the scene where Dean pulls over to the side of the road and finally talks to Sam about their dad's deal. It's a long shot of the boys on the imapala hood with the green trees/mountains behind them. The road bisects the image and then a reverse image of the mountains/trees below. The caption read something along the lines of "Leaning forward to the next grand adventure"

Sound familiar to anyone? Anyone know the artist? Where I can find the image? Or can point me in the direction of a fanart search community? My desktop is lonely without the boys.

I've recently started to get quite hooked on Sam/Dean and would love some recs - I'm looking for three things -

1) Western/Cowboy themed fics. I checked the previous search but it was for gen and I'm after slash (Sam/Dean or J2). Any length is good and self-pimping is good too :o)

2) Any fics where Sam really wants Dean and chases after/seduces him - I read a fic recently (I'm afraid I don't have a link and can't actually remember what it's called...) where Sam is a kind of devil as a child, and he sends Dean sex dreams to try to seduce him (among other things) - anything along those lines, where Sam very much wants Dean but Dean tries to be the sensible older brother... I don't mind under-age (as long as it's not TOO under-age) but please no BDSM or slash involving John. Ideally I'd love it if Dean 'gives in' at the end (although willingly). I've had a search through previous entries but they seem to be quite old so I was hoping there'd be some new gems out there?

3) Does anyone know of any time travel fics where a young or old Sam comes to the present time? I have a particular thing (as is obvious from the above) for Sam having a crush on Dean, so anything involving that would be great!

To celebrate fortify myself for the season finale, I thought I'd ask everyone to rec their favorite depictions of Dean's last day before going to hell. I'm thinking of scenarios where the boys don't find a way out, so they spend their last day together saying goodbye (The Cost and Strange's Country, for example). Can be part of a multi-chapter fic or a oneshot. Any and all pairings are very much welcome.

On a completely different note, is there such a thing as non-angsty one-sided Wincest? Or at least something where the boys deal with it like responsible, well-adjusted human beings? Kind of OOC, I know. But it should be possible, right?

To be specific, the following (all of which have gloriously angsty candidates) do not count as responsible, well-adjusted ways of dealing :P
    - Dean gives in to Sam because he would do anything for Sam
    - Sam leaves Dean because he can't bear to see Dean suffer that much
    - Dean has violent guilt-ridden sex with a string of strangers that look like Sam.
