1. It's an FBI Agent AU where Dean and Cas are both with the FBI. They already live together, sharing Cas's apartment, and then decide to get married because the benefits are cheaper. Dean was a veteran and PTSD from his service. There was a part where he took the shrapnel and used it to make Cas's ring and it was really emotional and stuff.
Sam and Ruby were together in this fic, too. I think Ruby had cheated on Sam and gotten pregnant but didn't know who was the father of her baby.

This was posted to AO3 but I can't remember the title or the author to find it again.

2. Cas was Dean's handler in the FBI. He was a part of the KGB or something and had his throat slit so he couldn't speak but they communicated via sign language. There was a warehouse or something that Dean went into that was under surveillance but was rigged to explode so he charged in to get some people out. Before he went in, he signed to the camera 'I love you' for Castiel. He lived, though, and then they went home and had happy-fun-times in the shower. I'm pretty sure this was posted on AO3 as well.

3. Dean was a nurse, I think, and Cas was a doctor. They were best friends for a long time and Dean had always been in love with him. Cas was married to Amelia/Daphne/somebody and she didn't like Dean because she knew he was in love with her husband. Somehow, Amelia/Daphne/whoever dies and Dean helps Cas through that and I think they're at some hospital function or swanky party where they finally reveal their feelings for one another. That's all I remember for this one and I've been trying to find it for forever!

I'm going to be doing a long train trip soon and wanted something to read.

Does anybody know any stories where Dean has had to leave Sam with someone or in a hospital/care home due to Sam having care issues or post Lucifer taking him over.

I know it was a J2 story. All I can remember is Jared standing in the rain outside Jensen's nan's care home begging him to come back to him.

I know it's not a lot to go on but I have seen miracles on this page.

Pretty much always been a Wincest woman, with occasional forays into J2. Lately, however, I'm feeling a need-to-read gen fic - well-written fic, with a strong plot, intriguing themes, the boys' authentic voices, etc. Canon or AU, the longer the better. (Stories with a strong subtext of UST would be especially appreciated. The UST tag on this site focuses too much on the 'S' and not enough on the 'UT' - my opinion.)

My only caveat is that the boys and their interaction (with a case or a problem) are the center of the story - rather than. for instance, an epic romance with another character.

I am not at all familiar with this type of SPN fic. So, in your expert opinions, where should I begin? Please recommend specific stories and/or writers.

2. Any fic centered around a canon character other than Sam, Dean or Bobby meeting Cas for the first time. e.g. Kevin Tran's POV of meeting Cas. Not necessarily someone who has met Cas in the show. For instance, Charlie Bradbury or Garth or Jodi Mills.

Hey guys - back again, so soon, I know. I have another specific fic request if you'll oblige me.

This one is set back during the season six finale (without going into too many season spoilers, we have here Godstiel). I believe the fic starts directly during the finale. Godstiel actually does something to Dean to make him the new Mother of All, and his body goes through some internal physical changes. Lots of hurt!Dean and emotionally!vulnerable Dean. Sam, Bobby, and Dean hole up at Bobby's place I believe where Godstiel visits Dean nightly with the intent to impregnate him with his children, new species of monster I believe - or not new? One of the kids is a vampire or werewolf or something, and the pack (or vampire nest or something) actually come to protect Dean while he's pregnant. Some of the sex scenes might be construed as non-con, but there are definitely some dub-con scenes.

Not sure if this was a WIP or complete. Either way, I'd like a link, darlings.

While I'm here, any links for your favorite vulnerable Dean fics? Bottom!Dean preferable, but general angst and hurt/comfort is of course welcome.

No.1 : I have dealt with asthma and would love to read some asthmatic Dean. I have read some short one shots and I will not reject good recs for those, but I am looking for something a bit longer. They do not have to be as long as the wonderful Sammy Verse by Kira! But a story that really describes the issue would be great.

No:2 Any recs for our wonderful Dean dealing with a permanent injury would be much appreciated. I like him overcoming his problems- even if it is a slow process, realism is important. Things I love are Ratherastory's Fusion verse, Stairway verse by NwspaprTaxis and of course Roque_clasique's Drive verse

John need not feature, I am not his biggest fan :-) Happiest with Dean/Cas pairing but happy with none too!

I'm looking for a fanfiction on either Fanfiction.net or Archive of our Own.

I don't remember that much about it, but Dean was in a coma for most of the story, and the doctors were going to pull the plug. Sam and John said goodbye, and John gave a wonderfully sad speech to Dean, speaking about him being with his mother after he died. I remember that in the end of the fic, Dean does get better and it has a happy ending. I think at the start, Dean may have been beaten up and he called John. I'm not sure if it was the same fic, but it might help narrow it down.
