BEST SAM/DEAN EVER. It's what I make suggest any newbie to S/D read. There aren't enough effusive adjectives in the world for Last Outpost.

Ayup, was just clicking to add that one. That was also my gateway fic. <3 Love it so very much... the way their relationship twists and gradually changes is just breathtaking and makes 100% PERFECT sense. I doubt I would have Sam/Dean as my OTP if I hadn't read this as my first Wincest fic.

I was like you and used to be opposed to Sam/Dean pairing and I second Last Post of All That Is. It is a great fic! And was my gateway into the pairing.

Dictionary for a Dead Language ~ http://britomart-is.livejournal.com/154955.html was my introduction. (Very angsty.) There's nothing explicit but the slow build of the relationship is gentle and gorgeous. It's still a favorite.
