I came across Fumbling in the Dark and read it surprised to find it changed my mind on the Sam/Dean pairing I had vehemently opposed before.

So, I'm tentatively reaching out to ask if anyone has any good Sam/Dean fics that are more of a slow romance- or that are not just smut, as I'm willing to give it a try. 

Anything you think might be a good introduction to this pairing. My OTP is already claimed but Fumbling in the Dark made me wonder if I was missing out on some good fics. Thank you.

As a side note- I was eased into the pairing by reading some Sam/Gabriel/Dean/Castiel- so if anyone knows any good polyamorous fics including those characters (three/four) I'm open to recommendations.

I've got two general requests here:

1) I am looking for fics which really deal with the incest topic. It can be Wincest or Angelcest (Castiel/Gabriel, Castiel/Balthazar or Castiel/Gabriel/Balthazar). Pairings with John aren't really my thing, but if the story is very well written... I am interested in the internal struggle of the two brothers but also in problems living an incestious relationship can cause in the outside world.
I already read The Winchester Gospel by SoulfulSam.

2) I want to look into polyamorous relationships, which means intimate, committed, long-term loving relationships between more than two persons. Again the pairing isn't that important. My focus is normally on various combinations of Sam, Dean, Castiel, Gabriel and Balthazar. RPS is fine too. The fics should concentrate on the characters trying to figure out how to make such a relationship work. I am also interested in fics where the pairing goes public and has to deal with the reactions.

So yeah for both requests not just PWP but characters seriously trying to work this out for themselves! The length isn't really important but it shouldn't be too easy for the main characters so I guess longer fics are more what I'm looking for. In Canon, AU or in case of the angels human!AU is all fine with me. And Slash is preferred over Het. I tagged my favourite pairings I hope that's okay...?

Hi, I'm looking for any Dean/Castiel/Gabriel/Sam polyamory fics where they are basically in one big awesome relationship with each other. Any rating but please, not a fic where its just tons of NC-17 stuff.

2. Pre-series fics that revolve around Dean and/or Sam's training, either by John or someone else. Gen or Slash.

3. Fics where Sam and Dean have to work alongside other hunters and totally come across as superior & kick ass. Slash or gen. 

4. Pre-series fics that show just how smart Dean is. Either that, or feeling jealous about Sam's intelligence and suppressing his own desires to have a good education. Gen or slash.

5. OOC!Dean in that he's raised to be a stoic, selfless soldier (robot-like) and someone else has to teach him to be "human" again. Or just, y'know, normal. Slash or gen. 


Well-written fics only, please! And fics over 5k preferred, but I'll take fics of shorter lengths if it's OMG brilliant. Um, I also ask not to be rec'd any non-con between the main-pairing or D/s. When I say "slash", I'm pretty much open to anything, though I'm very partial to any variation of the following characters: Dean, Sam, Castiel, Gabriel, and Michael. Threesomes are more than welcome. I've just had the great pleasure of reading The Hawk Must Fly and discovered a major new soft spot for noble, self-sacrificing, damaged, but still BAMF Cas. Can anyone send me in the direction of fics that feature this kind of Cas? Not push-over Cas, but Cas who does what needs to be done or acts for love, belief or necessity.

Any pairing is ok, as is gen.
Future!Cas or future!Dean is also lovely.

I know I'm looking for a lot but I have a few days off and need something to read.

I just finished reading "Unexpected Destinies" and I'm craving more of the same.

So in case you haven't read it, (which I highly recommend) here are some key things I'm lookin' for.

- Michael!Dean. (Sadly, though, I think I've read all of those that exist at the moment... ;_; )

- Angel!Dean (Same here...)

- Vessel!Dean, but only if he's Michael's, Gabriel's, or Lucifer's Vessel and it's a happy ending. Like, maybe it ends up slash? < :D

- In general I want Dean interacting with the Angel's more, being special for some reason. Perhaps holding a bigger part in ending the Apocalypse, or maybe he's able to use some sort of Heavenly weapon when only certain beings can use them. *Shrugs* I'm not picking on the Why's or How's, I just want to read a fic with that stuff in it. XD

- I find myself wanting Michael/Dean after reading Unexpected Destinies... But I'm also craving threesomes with Dean squished in between. Like, maybe Lucifer/Dean/Gabriel, Lucifer/Dean/Michael, Michael/Dean/Castiel, etc. :3

I don't really like reading anything other than Bottom!Dean, but if the plot of the story out weighs the smut, then I'll except those too.

P.S. I have no problems with Wincest. ^3^
 

Hey all.  I've exhausted my usual search options looking for this story, so I thought I would turn to you and your awesomeness to see if anyone can help me out here.

I'm looking for a specific chapter of a story.  Overview of the story in general is a D/C/S/G story where somehow the four of them end up accidentally bonded together.  First part of the story primarily revolves around S/G, then S/G/C, since Sam (surprise surprise) adjusts and accepts the idea of being bonded to three other people a lot quicker than Dean does.  Dean quickly finds himself the odd man out, and holds himself separate from the others, feeling that he is not worthwhile and shouldn't be involved, despite the other three wanting him to join them.  The specific chapter I'm craving is when Gabriel has had enough.  Dean goes out and gets drunk, worries the others, and comes back to a Gabriel who decides to sort him out.  Basically, Gabriel pounces, drags him off, and begins to explain just why Dean is acting the way he is.  Gabriel figures out that Dean is the opposite of Sam.  Where Sam is a bit too selfish, Dean is too giving, and Gabriel likes balance and he isn't seeing it in Dean, who always needs to be giving/sacrificing/carrying the responsibility.  He declares that since Dean is now his, Dean can set the weight down and let Gabriel take care of him.  Gabriel initiates fun times, and brings Sam and Cas in during it, to complete the circle between the three of them, though Sam is a bit reluctant at first.  While it isn't a perfect flock, the bonds do temper the boys and Gabriel sees that in the future things could be pretty close to perfect.  

I seem to remember this story, and possibly other writings by this author, as revolving around flock building, and how Gabriel craves this flock to replace the one he lost when Lucifer rebelled.  I'm pretty sure that the chapter I'm looking for is #5 of 6, though I may be wrong there.  

If anyone knows the story I'm talking about, I'd be very grateful.  Thanks for the help in advance.

Mods: I tagged this with Dean/Gabriel, since that is the main focus of the chapter I am interested in, and since there isn't a Dean/Sam/Gabriel/Castiel tag, I went with the threesome option.  Any chance of getting a foursome tag of some kind?  Hope this is alright.
